July 6, 13, 20, 27
We have four Summer Classes on Sunday morning during the month of July (6, 13, 20, 27).
Classes at 9am
__Grace: It’s More Than a Prayer for Dinner (Brandon Piercy)
Life is messy. We make mistakes. Constantly. God knew this was going to be the case and He still chose us. He made a way for our atonement; one that we could not screw up.
He provided us Grace. This class will be a discussion on Grace. What are our thoughts, what gets in our way, and how we live it out.
Taking Care of Your Body & Mind (Lance Conway)
If we were created with a body and mind by God, how do these work together and what is our responsibility for each? We will study what the Scriptures say and discuss practical things we can start, stop, and continue doing to take care of our body and mind.
Classes at 10:30am
__Our Identity, Our Purpose, Our Calling, and God’s Will (Robyn Christman)
This class will discuss our identity, purpose and calling - how each works together and how each is distinct from one another. With this understanding we are better equipped to discern God’s good, pleasing and perfect will.
__The Four Loves (Don Rodgers)
The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis examines four varieties of love from the Greek language: storge, philia, agape, eros. The book is intended to encourage and equip its readers to be open to all forms of love and draw closer to God. This class will read, discuss and review this book together with hopes of growing one’s love for God.
Suggested Resource: Four Loves by C.S. Lewis (can be purchased at Connecting Point for $13)
There is no cost to attend any of the classes (only cost may be a suggested resource, but not necessary to attend). Please bring your Bible or mobile device with the Bible app. If you desire to take notes, bring something to write on and write with.
